Sign-off (or closedown) is the sequence of operations involved when a radio or television station shuts down its transmitters and goes off the air for a predetermined period; generally this occurs during the overnight hours. It is the opposite to a sign-on (or startup) which usually takes place at the start of the day.
ITS COLD HERE IN THE MOUNTAINS, AND THE FISHING AROUND HERE ISNT VERY GOOD RIGHT NOW. I SHOULD BE SNOWBOARDING BUT THE SNOW SCENE AROUND HERE SUCKS RIGHT NOW. I WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE SOME TRIPS EAST TO NEVADA FOR SLIGHTLY WARMER TEMPS AND MORE ACTIVE FISH, ITS JUST HARD SINCE I ACTUALLY HAVE A JOB AND FREE TIME IS LIMITED. I WILL STAND ON A LADDER IN PYRAMID AND CAST TO CUTTS. I WILL STEP INTO THE TRUCKEE'S WATERS AND SWING STREAMERS. I WILL HIKE BACK COUNTRY LINES WITH CHAPPY AND SHRED SQUAW/PINE WITH TAYA. WE JUST NEED SOME FREAKIN SNOW, BECAUSE WINTER IS FOR SKIING AND HIKING LINES. CALL ME CRAZY, BUT I WOULD RATHER BE SURFING WAIST DEEP POWDER IN THE TREES THAN CASTING TO STUBBORN COLD TROUT THESE DAYS.
